Pear Green Hiragata Bowl (8")
A soft, fresh green, like the skin of a ripe pear. It brings a quiet freshness to the table, the kind that makes a salad feel like it was picked this morning.
The hiragata is a centuries-old Japanese form, a wide, shallow tea bowl traditionally used in the warmer months. We kept its generous, open shape for the way we eat now: pasta, grain bowls, fruit, and sides passed around the table.
Each bowl is handcrafted from high-fired terracotta clay, so small variations in glaze and texture make every piece its own.
Pairs well with: the Pear Green Banchan Dish and Pear Green Saucer, or the White Hiragata for a mixed set.
